Film Clips and Short Movies of the Pine Leaf Boys

The following clips come to us from various sources. The first clips that are embedded in this site come to us from the ingenious youtube.com where a simple search for Pine Leaf Boys brought us the great films captured by different people in the United States. The rest of the films were shot in and around Lafayette and have been compressed much higher quality than those from youtube. Enjoy!

Blue Moon
High quality, two-camera shoot

This high-tech two camera shoot was filmed right before Christmas at the Blue Moon with everyone in the Christmas spirit. It is the highest quality film we have. Quicktime 7 required. Thanks to Jillian Johnson and Zack Godshall for filming

Chelsea's
Last show in the "old" Chelsea's, Baton Rouge

One of the last shows that Chelsea's near the LSU campus will ever. We were lucky enough to play there one last time before it was leveled to make room for an apartment complex.

Liberty Theatre
Film from Liberty archives

The Liberty Theater is a historic theater in downtown Eunice, home of the Rendezvous des Cajuns tous les samedi au soirs. It broadcasts the show LIVE! through www.krvs.org and is available through local television about two weeks after the performance date. Visit our links page to get more info on the Liberty Theater.

Blue Moon
Pine Leaf Boys, with special guest musicians

The Blue Moon is one of our favorite gigs to play, partly because we can walk to and from there in about 20 seconds. It's a small, outside bar with an even small dance floor, but it hosts some of the finest bands from all over the country, and is now considered the best dance hall to hear traditional Cajun music in all of Louisiana, by Wilson. Visit our links page to get more info on the Blue Moon.
